About Us

Keith Johnson – CEO and Managing Director

CPI Recruiters was founded by Keith Johnson in 2010 after he successfully directed Lean Transformations at several progressive companies including BP Amoco, Chevron, Polyone Corporation, Kroger, Parker Hannifan, Hexpol Compounding, Verizon, Emerson, Ryobi, Owens Corning and three branches of the DOD.

It became CPI Recruiter’s mission to locate and vet proven professionals in the fields of lean six sigma, continuous improvement, and quality systems.  

He has 40 plus years of experience with over 60 clients in numerous industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Cutting Tools, Chemicals, Composites, Consumer Goods, DOD, Electronics, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Heavy Truck, Metal Working, Mining, Nonwovens, Oil & Gas, Rubber Compounding and Telecommunications.  

His international experience includes projects and placements in China, Thailand, North America, Europe, and Africa for large and small organizations in both permanent and contract assignments. In addition, he holds a BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s in human resource development from Clemson University. 

CPI Recruiters has extensive knowledge and training in the Toyota Production System, Theory of Constraints, Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Six Sigma.

We are practitioners of these tools, not headhunters meeting a quota.  Our client-oriented needs assessment and detailed candidate vetting process ensures a professional that will prove their competency on the first day.  Our focus and expertise are in the Continuous Process Improvement arena.
